There were so many photos that I loved but could not work into a complete post. I have to share them with you little by little. Hope you enjoy Maison de Belle

Linda, I can’t tell you how much I love your posts about Carmel! My husband and I have been vacationing there for 37 years! Since he retired 5 years ago, we rent a house there for the month in January or February and get to pretend we live there! Your pictures help keep us going until we get back to our “real” home. Thanks so much. Janice Cobb, Tulsa, OK.
What a lovely surprise to find this post after being without for such a long time ! Your posts always leave me feeling a little better and certainly make me smile . Thank you.
Linda,This is a little place of heaven! These pictures warm my heart, my most favorite place on earth. Thank you for putting a smile on my face. Your photos are great!
Oh how gorgeous, you have made my day yet again and what timing! We live in New Zealand but are in Austin today (USA for 4 weeks). We will be in Carmel from 13-16 Nov staying at my friend’s little apartment. I can’t wait! Thank you and wishing you well!
YOUR PICTURES MAKE ME SO HAPPY………REMINDS ME OF HOW MUCH I MISS CARMEL…….MY HAPPY PLACE!!! WILL BE THERE SOON !!!! SO GLAD YOU ARE POSTING AGAIN……..I HAVE MISSED YOUR POSTS!!!
So refreshing to see these photos. My husband and I did the convertible road trip from the bay area to Carmel back in 2009. We were newly married then and i am from Texas, so it was a beautiful sight for me to see. Hope to make it back someday.
I LOVE CARMEL! I have visited there many times, and always have found it to be a special place. To me, it’s magical, and very quaint. I hope to visit there again…….Thanks for sharing these photos.
Linda-What a pleasant surprise to see your photos and comments regarding Carmel. I have missed your wonderful blog. Always fond memories. Thank you. Hope you and Bill are doing well.
Linda, your photos evoke such emotion! Carmel has been my “special” place since I had the pleasure of living there many years ago. I’ll always be grateful for the meaningful time spent there. Your pictures bring back more memories than you know. Thanks from the heart for sharing. There is no more beautiful place in my book!!!
52 years ago, when I was an 18 year old bride, the U.S. Air Force sent my husband and me to live in Monterey immediately after we married. I was a really dumb kid from Ohio farm country. I adored Carmel-by-the-Sea. I had never seen anything like it! Even then it was a tourist destination with lovely shops but what I remember most are the flowers and gardens like those in your photos. Thank you for the reminder. Some things live in the memory for a lifetime, and Carmel in 1965 is a memory I’ll never lose.
Linda, I saved this October 27 post to read when I had some leisure time. Your posts are always so enjoyable and worth reading. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your blog. It’s such a joy to read and so enchanting. I actually live not too far from Carmel – about 2 hours away – but visit seldom. I suppose we tend to take for granted all the wonderful places that exist in our own back yards. Thanks so much for sharing.
